Kenneth Rosenman, MD, is a Professor of Medicine and Chief of the Division of Occupational and Environmental Medicine at Michigan State University. Dr. Rosenman is Board-Certified in Internal Medicine and Occupational Medicine. He received his medical degree from New York Medical College in 1975. He is a Fellow of the American College of Epidemiology and the American College of Preventive Medicine. He has been a Fellow of the Collegium Ramazzini since 1990. He has been a NIOSH certified B reader since 1984. Prior to coming to Michigan State University in 1988, Dr. Rosenman was Director of Occupational and Environmental Health at the New Jersey Health Department and before that a faculty member in the Department of Epidemiology at the University of Massachusetts. Under the direction of Dr. Rosenman, the occupational and environmental health team at Michigan State University works closely with the Michigan OSHA program and the Michigan Health Department to administer Michiganís occupational disease reporting and surveillance program. He has an active research program in occupational and environmental disease with particular interest in the methodology for tracking occupational conditions and the etiology of pulmonary disease. He has published approximately 160 articles on occupational and environmental disease.
