E-mail: davide.degli-esposti@irstea.fr

Davide Degli Esposti is a research scientist in molecular ecotoxicology at the National Research Institute of Science and Technology for Environment and Agriculture (France). His research interests are the understanding of the diverse molecular responses to the exposures of chemical and physical pollutants across multiple species and their relevance in the identification of environmental health hazards. His current research axes focus on the development of systems toxicology approaches in ecotoxicology, notably applying genomic technologies to non-model organisms. He is deeply interested in contributing to public policies aiming to improve public health and the environment. Davide Degli Esposti was post-doctoral fellow at the International Agency for Research on Cancer (WHO) in the Epigenetic Group from September 2012 to December 2016. He was a member of the research staff of the Cesare Maltoni Cancer Research Center of the Institute for Oncology and Environmental Sciences "B. Ramazzini" in Bologna, Italy from 2003 to 2007, where he planned and conducted long- term carcinogenicity rodent bioassays for detecting potential human carcinogens. Davide Degli Esposti obtained his PhD in Cell and Molecular Pathophysiology from University of Paris 11 (France) in 2011 and graduated with honors in Industrial Biotechnology from the University of Bologna (Italy) in 2000.
