Robson Mark Gregory

Mark Gregory Robson is a Board of Governors Distinguished Service Professor and Professor of Plant Biology at Rutgers University School of Environmental and Biological Sciences. Mark has a BS in Agricultural Science, an MS, and PhD in Plant Science and an MPH from Rutgers. He also has an Honorary Doctorate in Public Health (DrPH) from Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok Thailand. Mark?s research and teaching focuses on environmental risk assessment and occupational health, specifically as it relates to agricultural and rural communities.

Mark established the Thai NIH Fogarty Research Center in at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok in 2006 and currently is part of the GEOHealth Hub leadership for the Agricultural Health Center at Mahidol University in Bangkok, part of an NIH Fogarty grant with University of Massachusetts. Mark is the Editor in Chief of the Journal of Human and Ecological Risk Assessment.

In addition to Fellow in the Collegium Ramazzini (2013), he is also a Fellow in the Academy of Toxicological Sciences (ATS) and a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). He is the recipient of the Mehlman Award for Exposure Assessment Research from the International Society for Exposure Science, the Pfizer Teaching Excellence Award of Association of Schools of Public Health and the Malone International Leadership Award from Association of Public and Land Grant Universities. Mark has also been awarded the Osborne Award from the New Jersey Association of County and City Health Officials and the Sullivan Award from the New Jersey Public Health Association.
